I Dared to Dresden


Well, I did it! I took a dare!
When doing my Sunday afternoon stroll through quilt blogs, I decided to be brave and write a note to Madame Samm! She wrote me back and talked me into taking the dare!  Scarey but FUN!!!
Here is the result:

 
With Valentine's Day coming, I wanted to use the colors and theme. The brown makes me think of  - What Else?  - CHOCOLATE!!  My photo taking ability needs some work so here is another shot:
 
 
I'm not sure, but I think I might be catching the BUG!  The BUG to do more!

  22. Really cute. What a great idea to use another shape in the center instead of a circle. Wish I would have seen this before I did my little table topper quilt block. I think I will have to make another one. Thanks for sharing your idea!

  78. WoW! Your Valentine dresden is beautiful! How clever to do a heart for the center, I'm going to remember that design, hehe. I did a BOM at my LQS last year and the colorway was browns and pinks. It was called Chocolate and Cherries, great name right? Thank you for sharing with us, awesome job! Oh and nine kids?
